Terms of Service
Last updated 5 November 2026
Written in plain words so you know where you stand. If anything changes in a way that matters to you, we will tell you in the app (What’s New) before it does.
1. Who we are
Sharkie (“Sharkie”, “we”, “us”) is a service made by A Good Life, in India. You can reach us at hello@sharkie.in. By creating an account or using Sharkie you agree to these terms.
2. What Sharkie is
Sharkie lets you build a library for the voice helper in your app: intents (the things people can say), the phrases that match them, the lines it answers with, and the spoken recordings of those lines. You can try the library, publish it so your app can read it, and look at how it is used. Claude and a text-to-speech service help suggest and speak the words; you decide what is kept and published.
3. Your account
- You sign in with your phone number (a code sent on WhatsApp) or your email (a code sent by email). Keep access to them safe; what happens under your account is your responsibility.
- Give us true details and keep them current. One person, one account; do not share sign-in codes.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, or use Sharkie for an organisation that is.
4. Workspaces, plans and limits
Your work lives in workspaces, one for each app. Each workspace is on a plan (Free, Pro or Business) that sets limits, such as how many intents, lines, recordings or team members it can hold, and how much of the Bubbles assistant it can use each day. If a limit is reached Sharkie says so and asks you to upgrade; it does not delete anything. Plans are not charged for yet. If that changes we will tell you first, in the app, and nothing becomes paid without you choosing it.
5. Your content
What you put in is yours: your intents, phrases, lines, recordings and settings. You give us permission to store it, process it with the services in our Privacy Policy, and serve it to your app when you publish. You promise that you have the right to use it and that it does not break the law or anyone’s rights. You are responsible for what your app says to the people who use it.
6. What you may not do
- Use Sharkie for anything unlawful, deceptive, hateful or harmful, or to impersonate someone.
- Try to get into other people’s workspaces, break or overload the service, or work around its limits.
- Copy, resell or reverse-engineer Sharkie, except where the law allows it.
7. AI-written suggestions
Suggestions made by Claude and voices made by a text-to-speech service can be wrong or odd. Read them before you publish. We do not promise that they are accurate, complete or fit for your purpose.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Sharkie running but do not promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change or stop parts of it; when something you rely on goes away we will give notice where we can. A published library keeps being served from the last published version.
9. Suspending or ending
You can stop using Sharkie and delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will say why unless the law stops us.
10. Our responsibility
Sharkie is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what your app does with the library you publish. Where we are liable, it is limited to what you paid us for Sharkie in the three months before the problem, which is nothing while plans are free. None of this removes rights that the law says cannot be removed.
11. Law and disputes
These terms follow the laws of India, and the courts of New Delhi have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law says otherwise. Please write to us first at hello@sharkie.in; most things can be settled that way.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Using Sharkie after that means you accept the new terms.
