Privacy Policy
Last updated 5 November 2026
Written in plain words so you know where you stand. If anything changes in a way that matters to you, we will tell you in the app (What’s New) before it does.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, phone number and email, your profile photo if you add one, and the workspaces and plan you are on.
- Your library: the intents, phrases, lines, recordings and settings you create, and the releases you publish.
- What you ask Claude: the words you give the assistant, and the suggestions it returns.
- How the service is used: counts of questions and matches for your workspaces, a log of changes and releases, support messages you send us, and technical details such as device type and errors.
- On your phone: when you use the microphone in Build it, the phone turns your voice into words with its own speech recogniser. We store the words you say there as part of the test conversation on your device; we do not keep the audio.
Why we use it
To sign you in, run your workspaces, answer your library to your app, show you how it is doing, help you when you write to us, keep Sharkie safe from misuse, and improve it. We do not sell your information and we do not show ads.
Who helps us run Sharkie
Some of your information passes through the companies that provide the parts of Sharkie, and only for that job:
- Cloudflare: hosts Sharkie and stores its data and recordings.
- Meta (WhatsApp): delivers your sign-in code when you sign in by phone.
- Resend: sends emails such as your sign-in code and replies from support.
- Anthropic (Claude): reads what you give the assistant, and the part of your library it needs, to make suggestions.
- ElevenLabs: turns your lines into spoken recordings.
- Apple or Google: if you use the phone app, their speech recognition may handle your voice in Build it.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.
How long we keep it
Your account and library stay while you have an account. When you delete your account (or a workspace) we delete its library and recordings from our systems; copies in backups go within about 30 days. We may keep records we must keep by law, such as for payments once plans are charged for, and a minimal log of the deletion itself.
Your choices
- Edit your name, photo and details in Settings, and delete your account from there or by writing to us (see Delete your account).
- Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or to correct it: hello@sharkie.in.
- Switch off the microphone for Sharkie in your phone’s settings at any time.
Security
We protect your data with encrypted connections, access limits for our team, and an audit log of what the team does in your account. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in codes to yourself.
Children
Sharkie is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app (What’s New) before it takes effect.
